Kevin Rourke has worked very hard in the off season and is ready for another big year with the 13U Jr Spinners Prospect Team. The owner of the Jr Spinners program Marc Deschene thinks Kevin has a ton of baseball skill and a lot of upside and is confident that he will have another monster year. 

EBL: What EBL program do you play for and what age level? 

Rourke: I play for the Lowell Jr. Spinners on the 13U Prospects.

EBL: What positions do you play?  What's your favorite position?

Rourke: I play shortstop and pitcher.  Shortstop is my favorite position.

EBL: What grade are you in?  

Rourke: I am in 8th grade.

EBL: How do you like playing for the Jr Spinners?

Rourke: I enjoy playing for the Jr Spinners.  We are a close group and have been together for 4 years now. 

EBL: How does your team look this year? 

Rourke: We are working hard and looking good in the winter workouts.  We have a good size team with depth at every position, including the pitching staff.  

EBL: What program do you get the most pumped up to play?

Rourke: The Noreasters.  I have several friends on that team that I play fall baseball with. 

EBL: How do you like playing in the Elite Baseball League? 

Rourke: I love playing in the EBL because of the great competition and how it is very organized. 

EBL: Who has been the most influential person with your baseball career so far? 

Rourke: My dad has taught me so much throughout my baseball career.  I'm grateful to have a Dad that has played at the college level and is willing to help me grow as a player on and off the field.  

EBL: Who is your favorite MLB player and your favorite MLB team? 

Rourke: Lindor is my favorite player and the Boston Red Sox are my favorite team.  

EBL: Besides baseball what is your favorite sport?

Rourke: Basketball

EBL: What is your favorite baseball movie? 

Rourke: Major League
