Evolution Baseball, Inside Look!

By EBL, 11/01/19, 4:49PM EDT

Evolution Baseball “EB” was established in 2017. The driving force behind its formation was to create a travel baseball organization from 9U through 18U that focuses not only on the development of New England baseball players, but also the development of each players’ character. Led by Phil Price and his team of Program Directors - Chris Gouveia (Intro Development - 9U/10U), Anthony Perry (Advanced Development - 11U/12U), Aaron Kaska (High School Prep - 13U/14U) and Frank Cooney (College Prep 16U-18U), the organization operates using a Five Core Value system to guide its members through the development process.

“I’ve been in the travel baseball world for 16 years now. I remember when there weren’t many organizations around. I’ve seen programs form and disband over those years.” EB Owner and President of Baseball Operations, Phil Price states. “I used my 16 years of experience to form the vision of Evolution Baseball. Hopefully, that experience allows me to guide the program along the right path and always do right by my members. The industry is constantly changing - evolving, if you will. I want Evolution to be able to change and adapt with it.”

EB is located in West Boylston MA. On property, there’s an 8,000 square foot indoor training facility, housing 4 retractable batting cages that can be used for pitching lanes. The indoor facility also boasts a comfortable “living room” area for parents of its members to come in, sit by the fireplace, watch TV or observe workouts via wall-mounted cage monitors. Perhaps the most advantageous feature of EB is EVO Field - which sits 20 yards from the front door of the indoor facility. EVO Field has been built to accommodate 50/70 and 60/90 game play. Like it’s indoor facility, EVO Field is exclusive to Evolution members only for training and game play.

EBL is extremely proud to have Evolution in the league in 2020. Considering the program philosophy, the structure of their staff and the uniqueness of their facilities, there’s a reason Evolution Baseball is an organization to be on the lookout for in the coming years.
