Evan Vulgamore will be entering his senior year at Division I Quinnipiac University this fall. The Concord Cannons Alumni will once again be expecting another impact season for the Bobcats where he earned All-New England Honors for a second straight season. In 2019 Evan started 54 games, had a .270 Average with 58 hits. He finished the season with 9 home runs, 18 doubles and 55 RBI's. In the past 2 seasons he has 120 hits, 19 home runs and 95 RBI's.
Concord Cannons owner Bryan Caruso never had anyone outwork Evan during his 6 years with the program. "Nobody I've been around is more dedicated to making himself better than Evan Vulgamore. For example his routine this past summer was 7am gym workouts, 10am hitting, 12pm sprint/long distance work. He didn't miss a day and that dedication is what has made Evan a D1 prospect. He has always been very talented but his success hasn't happened by mistake. He converted to catcher from SS as a high school junior and became one of the best catchers in New England having never played the position before. When I think of Evan I think of energy. He plays the game extremely fast, has showed good power at the collegiate level with 20 HR the last 2 years. Very few players you come across that you can't wait to watch play as a coach Evan was that guy for us. He always seemed to step up in the biggest spots. I'm excited to see what type of numbers he puts up his senior year." says Bryan Caruso.
